Summer Canyoning
Easily the most fun summer activity in the Blue Mountains.
Summer Canyoning in the Blue Mountains
Our summer Blue Mountains canyoning trips run between September and April. All you need to do is dress for the weather and bring running shoes that can get wet, swimwear, a litre of water and a camera. High and Wild provides everything else, including a gourmet lunch on all our full-day trips.
Generally the minimum age for summer canyoning is 14 years old. If you have children younger than this, please contact us before booking to check suitability.
A courtesy waterproof camera is provided for most of our canyoning tours (please ask at time of booking). A free breakfast is also included on tours which start after 8.30am if you’re staying at the YHA.
If the trip you want to do is not scheduled, please contact us and we will try to organise it for you.

The walk to and from the canyon is very scenic with views of Wollemi National Park, famous for the Jurassic Wollemi pines. There's no abseiling, but the opportunity for fun water jumps more than makes up for it. (Please note that it is a hard walk out of this canyon.)
