Summer Canyoning in the Blue Mountains

review logo

Our summer Blue Mountains canyoning trips run between September and April. These are some of the most fun and exciting adventures Australia has to offer, with water jumps, natural waterslides, waterfall abseils and wild swimming, all set amongst stunning canyon scenery unique to the Blue Mountains.

All you need to do is dress for the weather and bring running shoes that can get wet, swimwear, and a litre of water. High and Wild provides everything else, including a gourmet lunch on all our full-day trips.

Need great pics to show people back home? Don’t risk your phone or pay extra fees. We provide a free waterproof camera so you can capture and share great images of your day out.

Generally the minimum age for summer canyoning is 14 years old. If you have children younger than this, please contact us before booking to check suitability.

If the trip you want to do is not scheduled, please contact us and we will try to organise it for you.

The walk to and from the canyon is very scenic with views of Wollemi National Park, famous for the Jurassic Wollemi pines. There's no abseiling, but the opportunity for fun water jumps more than makes up for it. (Please note that it is a hard walk out of this canyon.)
